Recipe Name: Bhindi Pyaaz Fry

Ingredients:
- 400 gms Lady's Finger (Bhindi)
- 2 medium onions (sliced)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder (jeera powder)
- 3/4 tsp chilli powder
- 3/4 tsp coriander powder
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Cut the Bhindi into halves and slit in the middle (though not fully slit).
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add jeera and allow it to splutter.
- Add curry leaves and saute for about 10-12 seconds.
- Add bhindi, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder and salt.
- Allow it to fry for about 5 minutes. Stir occassionaly, not too often though.
- Add onions and allow it to cook and fry for about 7 more minutes. Mix well.
- Switch off the stove.
- Serve hot with dal rice or chapatis.
