Ingredients
- 1 cup Poha (Beaten rice)
- 2 large potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- 1 1/2 cup green peas
- 3 green chillies
- 1 piece ginger
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- Salt as per taste
- Parboil the green peas and keep it aside.
- Grind ginger and green chillies in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
- Now mix the mashed potatoes, parboiled green peas, poha, ginger chilli paste, curd, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt.
- Make a good mixture of all the above ingredients.
- Add coriander leaves to the mixture and mix it again.
- Now make small round balls of the mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Deep fry the cutlet both sides till it gets golden brown colour.
- You can keep the cutlet pieces in a tissue paper, so that it absorbs excess oil.
- Serve with tomato sauce, coriander or tamarind chutney.
