Recipe Name:Onion tomato chutney

Ingredients:
- 2 large onions (chopped)
- 2 large tomatoes (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 2 tbsp urad dal (bengal gram)
- 2 red chillies
- 1 tsp tamarind
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
- Add onions and fry till it turns pink and soft.
- Add tomatoes and fry till it turns soft.
- Keep it aside.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
- Add urad dal and red chillies and fry till the urad dal starts turning brown.
- Grind all the ingredients in a mixer (onions, tomatoes, urad dal, red chillies, tamarind, asafoetida and salt).
- Serve with dosas or idlis.
